“For higher priced items, Buyee does not provide support should the item arrive damaged, defective or different than described by the seller. I recently bought a watch that arrived broken. The watch was also supposed to come with a warranty card, but did not. Finally, the package arrived with visible shipping damage. On the watch were also mismatched serial numbers. Buyee customer service said that for items above a certain price point, they cannot help, even though I paid for their extra service option. They also said they would not help in the case of counterfeit items. Because Buyee as a proxy is the purchaser of record, there is nothing you can do. Best to find a reputable company that protects your purchases.”

I bought a lens from Buyee which should be Yahoo.jp, the seller mention there's no scratches (mentioned many time there's no scratch), however I've got a totally, fully scratched lens behind front element. So i go for buyee's custom service request for help, and they replied me refund cannot be made, and throw out :

I felt shocked and ridiculous, where is the point of "ambiguous" ? As the item description already told the lens "No scratches", and i got a fully scratches lens, I can't get refund even the item mismatch what seller's mention? That is totally non-sense.
I would like to tell anyone who like/consider using buyee, PLEASE DON'T choose this Buyee agent, what a terrible shopping experience and the policy from them is a joke. Buyer get zero protection, stay away from Buyee.

“I was eligible for a coupon but despite the web page showing the deducted amount, when I finalized it paypal deducted the amount without the coupon. I contacted customer service and they admitted that I was eligible for the coupon but they would not refund me the amount which is very disappointing. Stick with the alternatives like zenmarket.”

Then they stated "I had to pick my item up from the customs" which is also completely untrue because you don't pick your item from the customs office, your local post office delivers it to your home, or you pick it up from their post office if they can't find you. I tried to order something 3 weeks ago, and I tried to order when they have discounts with Rakuten, then their website f***ed up and I failed to get one.

I tried to login, no help. Try to reset password, no help.
Asked customer service, they spent two days and told me my account is banned, they can't tell me why.

Buyee is absolutely the worst proxy service I have ever come across. I've read reviews like the one I'm about to make prior to using their service, telling me to avoid their site and I didn't listen them. So now I'm paying for it. Literally.
I purchased 8 items through them but I didn't know that the domestic shipping cost was 35,000 yen (around $282) for each item totaling 280,000 yen, approximately $2262. Their website does not reflect all of the information on the original Japanese seller's item page and so I paid for the item without realizing the cost to ship domestically because that price was not made available. I then realized Buyee will later charge me for the $2262 in domestic shipping, which by the way is a scam. The items were 1/2 lb each tops, so there's no way it would've cost that much to ship.
But Buyee offers no customer protection against fraudulent sellers. Seeing as how some of their past customers have dealt with the same issue that I'm dealing with , you'd think that Buyee would've created some sort of protocol or safeguards to prevent something like this from happening again. But they haven't.
I had no choice but to go through with the transaction because per Buyee's policy, if I didn't pay them to ship my items to me, then they would've disposed of my items and automatically charged my payment method on file anyways. I couldn't even remove my payment method until I paid that amount.
So I'm literally paying for their mistake for being unable to provide all relevant information on their own website.
I tried disputing this through PayPal but they denied my case. Currently trying to appeal their decision but I don't like my odds. I'll have to file a chargeback as a last resort if it comes to it since I had to use my debit card to pay for this.

I bought a card titled "PSA 10 graded Galar Friends" with the description saying that it is graded at the highest 10 and so ..
But when i received the item, it was just a card itself without the PSA slab or grading. I email them with the videos and picture and they told me no "refund" because it is not unauthentic nor damaged.
If so, why did i even get the inspection plan. Do you guys even check what you received ? With this outright scammed, you guys can say that it is non-refundable.
So if i buy a 100 dollars card and anyone can just send me a 1 dollar card ? Must i accept it ? Why risk myself with such "No buyer protection" policy

I had purchase a vintage model kit from Buyee last month but when I receive the item the box is MISSING while the seller had clearly show that the box is included in this sales with photos(The description is also said that the box is old with scratches...etc). How come the box is MISSING!!! So I wrote to Buyee with photos but their reply is they can’t do anything because I do not add the “Insured/Inspection fee”(Each item extra fee for 500Yen more)even I had already paid the handling charge before I purchase this item….This is really irresponsible because in this case I’m not complaining missing content but just a outer box!!! It implies that Buyee even don’t know what seller will send to them??? (Ie: If you purchase a 10000 yen item seller can send you a 100 yen item but Buyee will NOT know and they will NOT responsible for it????).
