“Purchased an item that was described as complete and unopened. Upon arrival the package had clearly been opened and half the parts were missing. Customer service were completely dismissive and refused to open a case or even contact the seller. Even though I provided photos of what was missing. Scam site. AVOID AVOID AVOID.”
“I wish I could give Buyee ZERO stars. I purchased a rare collector’s item through Buyee’s auction service and paid a premium price. The seller’s listing clearly showed a 2012 ADA Amazonia Powder, but what I received was a cheap, recent batch worth a fraction of the price.
I submitted photo evidence and Buyee themselves acknowledged that the product packaging was different from what was advertised. Instead of protecting the buyer, they brushed me off with the ridiculous excuse: “the bags may be different, but the contents are the same.” Then they closed my case without refunding me a single cent!
This is not buyer protection – this is supporting dishonest sellers. I spent hundreds for something rare and valuable, only to be cheated and told to accept it.
Buyee is complicit in fraud, and if you value your money and trust, DO NOT use Buyee. They will not stand by buyers when things go wrong.”
“I don't recommend buyee.com for international buyers. Their customer service is horrible and never compromise their profit for the smallest favor. They don't take call and their only communication tool "Inquiry" takes so long time get an answer. And their answer is all times just copy and pasted soulless answers like "sorry, we can't take your request". Horrible service. Look for other services.”

“Ordered expensive Buzz Rickson jacket on 18th November 2023 from Japan Still not arrived in UK by 18th January 2024 two full months later!!! Track shows it never left Japan. It's just travelled from Osaka to Kawasaki and back to Osaka International airport where it seems to be stuck. Buyee even charged me an extra £35 to courier it back to their warehouse but it still hasn't moved multiple weeks later. Terrible customer support and lousy communication. Very unprofessional. They clearly don't care at customer support. I'm still over £1300 out of pocket and have requested a full refund but they don't seem to care.
Totally incompetent communication. Buyee are not taking this at all seriously. I will get credit card company to pursue them now as I'd be mad to trust these clowns.”
“Hidden Fees and No Warranty Against Defects
There are numerous hidden fees throughout the process, in addition to the product purchase and shipping costs, including their warranty and especially customs fees. Moreover, Buyee is merely a proxy buyer, as they themselves state: “In the case of proxy sales, the seller generally cannot act. The warranty offered by the seller cannot be applied when the buyer registered with the seller is not the final recipient of the item.” As a result, if you receive a defective product, you will have no recourse!”
“Horrible. I bought a cd and not only got shipped a burned cd from the original seller, but the product was completely broken upon arrival. Because the seller did not post pictures of the actual cd they refused to give a refund despite me having the standard plan and the case being cracked and scratched. I wasted the money on the cd and they did not honor the plan that promised to give a refund on broken product.”

“For higher priced items, Buyee does not provide support should the item arrive damaged, defective or different than described by the seller. I recently bought a watch that arrived broken. The watch was also supposed to come with a warranty card, but did not. Finally, the package arrived with visible shipping damage. On the watch were also mismatched serial numbers. Buyee customer service said that for items above a certain price point, they cannot help, even though I paid for their extra service option. They also said they would not help in the case of counterfeit items. Because Buyee as a proxy is the purchaser of record, there is nothing you can do. Best to find a reputable company that protects your purchases.”
“We'll start out by saying I used them for years and never had an issue now that I finally had a problem where item I spent hundreds of dollars on came damaged I paid for their optional inspection and insurance plan to make things worse the damage was caused by a poor repacking on their side where they stuck the item in a box three times the size with nothing more than one layer of little bubble wrap and a couple pillow packs binary simply responded over and over again that they could not verify the original condition from the auction therefore I am not entitled to any refund even though it's clearly their fault not to mention what the point of paying for inspection if they don't inspect it even though it has a inspection sticker on it just place truly is a scam selling you fake coverage and refusing any type of customer service when things go wrong and definitely would never trust them with anything of value”
“Won auctions of 4 bearbricks from a seller declaring 100% genuine products or else full refund. Buyee support refused to give refund and also prevented me from contacting the seller.
I asked whether the seller had broken any Buyee rules by selling fakes but no reply.
