Long detailed review but headline: AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I placed an order 11/7/25 for a sink, extraction hood and tap for my new kitchen which was due for completion 18/8/25. The original sink I wanted was out of stock so chose an alternative and delivery was showing 23/7/25. That date came and went and I logged into my account new delivery date showing 2/8/25 without any communication of the delay. I phoned for some information, was told the delay was out of their control but due to me on the 2nd Aug and the other items could not be dispatched separately.
The order was delayed again and again when I finally decided to cancel the sink and buy a more expensive one else where. Contacted Buyitdirect to cancel the sink and refund my money. My kitchen worktops couldn’t be measured without the sink. Hense me changing my mind to a sink that “was in stock”. Was told then the sink was in stock but I had already purchased elsewhere so proceeded with the cancellation. I was then informed on the 6/8/2024 that the extraction fan was held at a different warehouse and would take a few days to gather my order, this is now a full month after me ordering and paying over €600 for these items. It then took until the 12/8/25 for the order to be dispatched and the 19/8/25 for delivery.
Order arrived yesterday and the tap I ordered has been sent in the wrong colour. After 40 mins on the phone I now have to wait for them to collect the incorrect tap, receive it back, inspect it and only then will they send me the item I ordered on the 11/7/25. I have never experienced such incompetence with an online retailer in my life. I will never use them again.
