Truly terrible service, possibly the most incompetent and frustrating I have ever experienced! Firstly, they failed four times to collect my broken laptop because Buy It Direct kept sending the courier to the wrong house, despite me giving the correct details over a dozen times. Over 40 emails back and forth, never the same person replying, nobody seemed to know what was going on, and a total lack of clear answers. Then I received a phone charge of over £60 from being on the phone with them trying to sort it out, and they charge .14p a minute then keep you on hold for ages. Next, I was told somebody would get back to me within ten days to update me about my laptop repair. After three weeks I had received no news so I emailed them. First I was wrongly told that they had emailed me already. Then someone from the company rang to speak to me, called me the name of my colleague, and when I said they had the wrong name, they hung up straight away before I had a chance to explain. Now they have emailed saying someone will respond in three days to update me. Which means it will be over a month since I first contacted them about the repair, and they still haven't sorted it. I recommend don't by anything from Buy It Direct because if it goes wrong, you'll have nightmare experience!
