“Strongly advise against purchasing from this company. I ordered the Electriq SF12000 for £300, and the unit arrived with a faulty circuit board — a serious defect. I was issued a replacement (after a long and strenuous process where I had to provide evidence), but this second unit was even worse: it violently shudders and shakes when switching modes, clearly indicating a mechanical fault or a significant safety issue. AirCon Direct have advised me that it is not a fault and standard for their air conditioning units to do this - I'll leave it up to the consumers to decide if that's what they'd like in their air conditioning units.
I contacted the company requesting a full refund, as both units failed to meet even the most basic standard of functionality or quality. Instead of resolving the issue, I was told I would be subject to a £40 refund charge — despite being sold two consecutively defective products.
To make matters worse, both units arrived with a ripped water seal, as evidenced in the attached photo — a further sign of either poor manufacturing or inadequate quality control.
This is not simply poor customer service — it borders on misrepresentation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which I'll be raising with their complaints team and ombudsman.
I strongly recommend avoiding this seller. Based on my experience, they appear to be knowingly supplying substandard goods and penalising customers who attempt a refund on a faulty product. I made a mistake accepting the replacement when I should have got the refund on the initial purchase.”

I ordered a Ninja Air Fryer on 3rd December for delivery today (13th December). This was a Christmas gift for my Mum whom is a pensioner. I got a good price as the Black Friday deals were currently running. I chose Appliances Direct as they were £10 cheaper on price when compared with Argos. Yesterday I received an email saying there would be a delay with delivery. After spending 2 hours this morning trying to get through to customer services, I have been informed that they have no stock and would issue a refund. I now have to wait 3-5 working days to receive my refund before I can look around for a replacement. My bigger issue is that they are no longer in the sale so it will cost me more money as I will now have to pay full price. I asked for an upgrade to a product they currently have in stock (£40 more expensive) at no additional cost to me as I will now have to pay this from my own pocket - this was declined. Certainly no attempt at customer satisfaction here! I have never left a negative review.. ever... but I have to say I am appalled. If this review deters at least one potential customer then it has been a review well worth leaving. 1 star is way too generous.”

“We bought a 2- way induction hob and a microwave-oven combi which were delivered in 1 lot. On arrival the boxes were intact but we only opened the boxes after almost 2 months since the AirBnB location it was meant for wasn't ready yet. When opening the 2 way induction hob was completely shattered. From the.inside of the package there was some evidence that it had been a ( factory) packing error causing the damage. Even though we were way beyond reasonable claiming time Buy it direct - after some correspondence- send us a replacement at no costs which was well appreciated!”
