ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!! I ordered a Ninja Air Fryer on 3rd December for delivery today (13th December). This was a Christmas gift for my Mum whom is a pensioner. I got a good price as the Black Friday deals were currently running. I chose Appliances Direct as they were £10 cheaper on price when compared with Argos. Yesterday I received an email saying there would be a delay with delivery. After spending 2 hours this morning trying to get through to customer services, I have been informed that they have no stock and would issue a refund. I now have to wait 3-5 working days to receive my refund before I can look around for a replacement. My bigger issue is that they are no longer in the sale so it will cost me more money as I will now have to pay full price. I asked for an upgrade to a product they currently have in stock (£40 more expensive) at no additional cost to me as I will now have to pay this from my own pocket - this was declined. Certainly no attempt at customer satisfaction here! I have never left a negative review.. ever... but I have to say I am appalled. If this review deters at least one potential customer then it has been a review well worth leaving. 1 star is way too generous.

Very disappointed Aircon stopped working after 3 month 30 days communication with customer service and rec staff and nothing was resolved

Avoid at all costs Zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have ever received! Bought a "refurbished" laptop that had fans the sounded like jet engines when just browsing with chrome. After first restart it corrupted windows and never booted again. I returned immediately. They received the return over two weeks ago now and still no refund. Customer service are worse than useless and can't tell me anything other than "it's waiting to be checked". If it takes this long then you need to hire more staff. Completely useless. Would never use them or any of their other companies under the buy it direct Ltd banner. Do yourself a favour and but from someone else and STAY AWAY from the useless company.

Pretty awful company trading under Appliances Direct Washing machine out of action for 7 weeks with no repair or replacement in sight Keep making appointments for repairs only to cancel because they ,can’t’ get parts’ Customers service department not interested and keep blaming other departments

Appalling. Take your money but when it becomes faulty expect yo to return it with no guarantee you'll get a replacement, refund etc. Shocking

Ordered an electriQ induction hob. Wanted to keep old appliance so did not pay for removal service. They turned up one week earlier, took the old appliance (its a tenanted property) then, when I complained, spoke to several people on the phone to first say they would return the old appliance, then, that it could not be returned, no compensation and blamed my tenants for letting them take the old appliance! I said it was theft but they do not care. They said that they would have taken the old one anyway, so I said why ask people to pay for it then and where was this stated in the contract? No answer. Terrible company, do not recommend and will not use again.

If I could give -5 stars I would this company is a joke I payed 55 euro for delivery within 14 days it is now over a month and still have not received my t.v, email after email and I think the employees must be literally mentally and physically retarded I highly recommend NEVER dealing with this company absolute joke I'd have an order from wish faster!

What a BAD experience I have had this week with a customer service failure at the Buy It Direct Group. From supply chain failure, to sharing mis-information and a customer service team that has no real idea what is going on. It has been a lesson in how NOT to portray my own businesses and ensuring I keep the correct people in place to manage all aspects of my businesses effeciently.

My dishwasher stopped working after 18months and they refused to cover a repair a replacement saying it was over the warranty of 1 year. Even though 2 year is the minimum EU standard. Disgraceful behavior

Do not purchase from this company. An item 14 months old stopped working. They offer no help customer service was poor all they kept stating was that it was out of warranty. Could not even recommend a repair.

I have been trying to get a laptop delivered from this company for 2 months. They repeatedly said it was delivered which it was not and completely washed their hands of my case essentially blaming me and standing by their delivery service provider who did not deliver the laptop. I am over €450 out of pocket and have to take it to small claims now. Unbelievable

Cant support dishwashers with parts after less than six years. Staff prevaricate and avoid helping using 'blame culture' techniques as excuses. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Statutory demand served prior to legal action for non payment of debt. Now waiting almost 2 months for refund have this launched legal proceedings. Totally disorganized company - too many staff performing similar jobs with lack of centralisation. Staff seem to have zero accountability or be aware of correct proceedings and their legal obligations. Inadequate computer systems result in poor stock control and lack of centralisation of client dossiers. Company is growing so fast and has such high staff turnover that staff are inadequately trained. If you have a problem it gets churned around interminably and spat out with zero resolution or accountability on behalf of staff. BEWARE!

Absolutely awful company. They do not honour guarantee’s which is breaking the law. My microwave broke within a year and despite exchanging 30 emails & 7 phone calls it’s still not resolved. It is not acceptable to say they are having problems contacting the manufacturer. This has been going on for weeks & totally unacceptable. Buyers beware, do not purchase anything from this company & instead make your purchase through a reputable retailer & safe yourself a lot of time, money & stress!

We told them we need a drone ASAP for delivery to the Ukrainian army.They said they had the one we want in stock and could deliver it in 2 days, "3 at the latest". It turned out they did not have it, did not even have a warehouse, just passed orders to another company. When they had our money, only then did they tell us it would take 2 weeks to arrive. So we cancelled. Refund will take 5 days. No apology. They lied, took our money and will keep it as long as they possibly can. Don't trust them.
