I purchased a new Alcatel S1 smartphone, it was delivered promptly, however my problem started when the phone went wrong within the first month, Buy it Direct Ltd, did not want to know and referred me to the manufacturer which was a complete waste of time, I will never purchase again from Buy Direct Ltd.

Waited almost 3 months for my delivery to arrive and still not here yet. They kept saying every week that my order it’s on the way until today just to find out it will not be delivered in the next two months at least. 5/6 months for a delivery?! Really! Very bad experience when it comes to shipping to Ireland.

Worst experience I’ve ever had . I ordered my couches in January and I was told every week by their customer service that they will arrive next few days . It’s almost April and Easter is next week... my house has no couches yet. I asked for a refund and They only refunded one couch instead of 2 . I am desperate to have a nice Easter and I can’t buy new couches now since I’m not payed back. It is an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life . But what do they care !?????? They don’t

Unreliable! Paid more than €20 for express delivery item is still awaiting deapatch, after days... Expected delivery time changes all the time, and they also changed my total amount. Called them, they said will get it on 13/03, obviously, did not get it. Now it says 15/03, but it is still awaiting despatch. "Express delivery, my a$$… " am going to report them and call me bank.

I place the order on the 18th of February , item was meant to be delivered on the 20th then on the 27th then on the 28th of January . I have never received the item contacted several time the customer service with little support and for a denial letter and a copy of my ID. Spoke to the Courier they told I wasn't at home pity I work from home , and now there is no place to go so..... Ask for a refund still got nothing

I ordered a bed for €497. I got an email to say my order was on the way and was out for delivery for the 25th of January it never came , then it changed to the 26th and then never came. I emailed customer care and was told it was with a case manager and they would get in contact with me, which they didn’t. I then went back into the email to track and it said to contact the customer care team. I called the customer care team and was told that the bed has left the warehouse and is with the courier company. I told them I tried to track it with the English courier company and it is saying the details are invalid so therefore I cannot track. They said I need to contact the Irish courier service who will deliver it but doesn’t have a contact number or name of which courier service it is all they could say was it’s an Irish company who delivers big parcels. But if the bed doesn’t arrive in ten days then ring and they can’t track? Like how can they if they didn’t even know the name of the company? So how I’m down 500 and don’t even know when my bed is coming

looks like the Brexit has hit home paid for express delivery to Ireland was told item will be delivered never arrived City air express very bad reputation

If I could if give no stars, I got a monitor that didn't power on from day one, I contact this so called company who took there sweet time replying to me and eventually told me though luck you baught it it's yours, keep as far away as you can and spend a few quid more locally where you have some comeback.

Delivery was faster then I expected, but I'm not impressed with delivery completing staff. There was two men who just dropped my machine outside door thinking that my husband will carry it inside by him self. They were supposed to take old one out, but older man has refused saying that they are too busy for that,even though we ordered collection and confirmed twice that we will need one, he said maybe someone will come on other day. Very dissatisfied and disappointed

Late arrival of fridge freezer which was faulty from day one. Fridge part freezing over at lowest setting g. Loud v annoying whirring noise coming from motor. Hopeless customer service. Just told me to get on to uk warranty who I cannot get through to and not answering emails. Worst experience ever. They don’t seem to give a damn once they have your money. Never again. Buyer Beware. Worst experience ever. Totally ignored my request to return as it’s not working. My old fridge was better than this. Disastrous.

Bought a tv. Tv arrived with the screen cracked. Contacted customer service, requested replacement. Took 2-3 days for each reply to my mails. Ended up having to pay to post the damaged tv myself back to them when they finally sent me the address. 1 month since ordering they sent me a refund for the tv instead of replacement. And they still owe me the money for posting back the tv. Absolutely disgraceful company to deal with. Avoid at all costs. By comparison: Went online with Powercity, collected new tv. Took 45 minutes total. Tv now setup

My fridge freezer took over a month to be delivered and tracking no did not work. Fridge is faulty and noisy and I cannot get any answers frombuyitdirect. Gave me a tel no to ring uk warranty that doesn’t work from Southern Ireland. Eventually got an email address but no reply to this either. I paid over 500 euro for a fridge that doesn’t work and is very noisy( higher decibels than stated by manufacturer. They don’t seem to give a damn once they have your money. Buyer beware.

I bought a fridge freezer that was faulty., very noisy and inside back of fridge icing over from day one. I contacted But it direct to return item but no reply or action, only directed me to ukwarranty who are not answering my emails and cannot get through on tel from Southern Ireland. Disaster!

Bought a dishwasher, it didn't work, they replaced. They came to pick up the broken one! Now they say it wasn't picked up and want to charge us! looking at other reviews they have form for bad customer service! Be warned!

I ordered a TV LG that came with the screen cracked. I had to call 5 times to try to make an appointment to come and get it back. When the attendants don't hang up on me, they just lie saying they will come "next Monday" (which it never happens). I've never talked to so many liars in my life.

Absolute disgrace .ordered new Samsung phone for 230 euro phone arrived in a white cardboard box with just a battery.i was sneakily sent a class A phone instead of new one I ordered.i have been trying to get the matter sorted .no one is dealing with it and u need my money back to get a phone as a present before Christmas.do not buy from this company they are a joke

DONT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIVE IN IRELAND I was expecting great service based on previous reviews and I was badly disappointed. They promised delivery of bunk beds within 14 days. The bunk beds did not arrive. I contacted them on a paid call number (their low call number for existing customers that they send on my confirmation email doesn’t work) and their customer service rep in the UK told me they had outsourced my delivery and to chase down delivery myself. I did with no luck. Contacted them again and got a great customer service rep who promised me daily updates. Long story short the courier they outsourced to for for Irish deliveries had outsourced to another courier and buy it direct had no way of contacting them. After 6 days of waiting for an update they refunded my money (minus the massive 80 euro delivery charge) and told me because I paid through PayPal they couldn’t verify my eircode And so the stock was returned to them. This was in spite of me providing my contact details numerous times across my dealings with them. In short do not buy from this UK Based company if you live in Ireland. I am left 80 euro worse off with two very disappointed children.

I am a first time buyer with buydirect. Was doing online chat with a customer help agent for buy direct called Liam on Friday and he just abandoned our conversation half way through. I have emailed twice looking for clarification regarding an iphone I wanted but no response. Very disappointed with this company and no longer trust their service. Barry

SHOCKING AFTERSALES I wish i had read these reviews before buying. Please think carefully before you order - especially if you cannot afford to lose money that they will keep instead of refunding you. I ordered a vanity unit, sink, tap and 2 basin waste. Paid over £300 for all three months ago. Tap (£64.97)was refunded as it arrived incomplete. Sink was refunded (£59.18) as it broke in transit. Vanity unit was returned when i realised that the sink wasn't coming (which they did not tell me - apparently you have to figure these things out yourself) and it was no use without the fitted sink. (Kept the basin wastes which were £17.97 each.) This leaves a difference of over £128. My vanity unit right? Apparently not - my unit was, i'm told.....'free'. Yet they cannot tell me what the outstanding £128 was for that i paid. Staff are working from home and simply cannot be bothered. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the vanity unit was not free and they owe me £128. Nothing short of theft. No reply to emails - premium rate phone numbers and incompetent after sales staff. It has been 3 months since i placed the order and i'm not going to let this one drop.
