BUY IT DIRECT IS THE FORMER NAME FOR THE NOW "APPLIANCES DIRECT" They have changed their name due to the shocking reviews of BUY IT DIRECT so new customers are not aware of there shocking service & previous reviews. Bought a cooker at the end of November within 2 weeks it broke after numerous calls to return the item & them desperately trying to get me to go through the warranty of which I refused as this would mean waiting for a repair agent to come out n look & repair the cooker which was only 2 weeks old Pls be aware ppl you do not have to do this "Under the sales of goods act" The item is not fit for purpose Which means the seller "Appliances direct" has to take the item back and either replace it or refund it no warranty needed, its now the 13th Dec its took me 3 weeks to get it picked back up and I'm still waiting for my refund Then today I thought I had it sorted Was promised a full refund of £594.95 only to receive an email saying I'm getting a refund of £549,95 £45 short so here we go again had to ring them back to get my £45 added to my refund which will now take up to 5 working days we have been without a cooker for over 3 weeks ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE & WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE YOU WANT TO SEE HOW BAD THEY ARE GOOGLE "BUY IT DIRECT" REVIEWS AND READ THE REVIEWS & I BET YOU WONT BE PURCHASING FROM APPLIANCES DIRECT DISGRACEFUL COMPANY 👎👎13/12/22

The Buyit Direct company is the worst company I have dealt with for over 3 months, they promise that they provided a courier for the cooker hood they sold to me broken. He constantly writes an email to them when the courier finally arrives, they give the dates but in fact these are fictitious dates. They informed me that as long as I did not take the hood, they would not refund my money and therefore the hood was not received by them

Furniture is so easily marked! Paint is coming off the Navy chest and it looks awful, marks stand out so much actually afraid to sit anything on it! So disappointed

I have never had a worse experience with an online orders company. I ordered 6 island stools to ireland and they were not suitable. I made arrangements with BID for them to be collected and they were not collected for over 4weeks. I received calls from their collection company giving me a day they would be collected and they never turned up then they arranged an alternative company that took weeks to turn up. After they were eventually collected (4 weeks ago) I still haven’t received a refund. 8 emails completely unanswered including when I sent it to the Head of Customer Service email. I just got the automatic reply each time saying I would get a response within 6-24 hours. I have now paid 2months of interest on the €800 on my credit card

Having purchased some very expensive equipment from Buy It Direct we were promised that it would be delivered on Monday 12th Sept Between 7am and 7pm. Buy it direct failed to deliver the item and didn't even have the courtesy to let us know. That is a whole day of my life l will never get back.Avoid this company !

Got an electric scooter from them off ebay stopped working after 3 months sent back got a new 1 sent with no handlebars or charger and this company can't seam to sort it out only rang them sent pictures on email what's app and they just closed my case stay away from this company they are a rip-off

APPALLING SERVICE, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE., have essentially robbed my money from me. I purchased a bbq that arrived damaged and then faulty as it would not light and stay lit. So I sent on photos of damage etc upon receiving the item and started the return process, which has been an absolute nightmare. The package is still sitting here. I have had to chase up City air express myself, each time the couriers have told me they have no order in the system for collection at my address. That ridiculous "chat" they have where they cannot help you at all is offline. Countless emails today and 3rd time I've been told pick up is arranged and 3rd time it has never happened. Courtney phoned me the first time and seems they never gave the shopping company my address....W T F like you have ONE JOB. City air aren't mind readers it's not gona get to me without my address. Omg....I can't even express how upset I am by this whole thing. Avoid at all costs this company..I have filed with the Gardai and documented everything in the event that there is any issue. I'm at the end of my patience now and have asked my brother in law to handle it with his law form if I don't get a call back today. Soooo much hassle...please save yourself the drama

Coned me £500. The customer service of this company is horrific. They have been leading me on more than a month. Each time a different person replies to my message who hasn't got a clue what is going on and gives me the same message that they will get back to me in 48 hours but I never hear from them. I asked to escalate the matter and was told they will call me back but no call. Have to contact trading standards.

The worse service with buy it direct ever in my life 3 month of waiting 1000 euro paid 4 times promised a date 3 times called by case manager with lies about my product Customer service never able to help I have never experience this never. Customers are like rats for them Don't buy! Buy it direct I want my producs!!!!! I paid 1000 euro!!!! How unprofessional! The first time ever I write reviews about a company!!!

The most horrible experience you can imagine 3 month of waiting 3 times i have been promised a delivery date with no one emailing or showing up A customer service that has no clue what they are doing. Over 20 times I have been told someone from escalation team will call you and no one did I paid 1k euro for my products. And NOTHING Not a single time did they call in 3 month after calling w hundred time This is a legit scam company. Horrible experience and horrible company. Do not even think of buying from them. You will regret the rest of your life Sales Order 43136425 I wish I never ever spoke to them!!!

Absolutely terrible. Stay clear from buying from this company. I ordered bedroom furniture for my daughters bedroom. I simply cannot believe that a company tells its customers that the products will be delivered at a certain date to its Irish customers and then it doesn’t happen over and over and over again. Crazy the amount of emails and telephone calls I have had with them. Nightmare experience like other people have said below.

brought a laptop and the sound is such bad quality, cannot even hear it. ive had to buy separate speakers so i can have decent sound on the laptop, meaning extra cost. disappointing :(

As others have stated, the experience is fine until there's an issue, then you get fobbed off by customer services, who don't understand the problem. Based on other reviews, many people find Buy It Direct in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I ordered an oven from them in October 2020. Nine months later, there was an issue, so Hotpoint came out and fixed it. Fast forward another eight months, and there's another issue. They are not interested, tried to fob me off, telling me the warranty had expired and I needed to deal with Hotpoint. I have explained that I am claiming under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and not the warranty. I get the template your contract is with Hotpoint reply, which shows their customer service team is not trained on consumers' legal rights, which is concerning for an online retailer. I'm sure they'll hope I will give up and go away, but I will be taking this to the small claims court and Trading Standards. Go elsewhere if you want any level of customer service. The cheapest isn't always the best - I am learning that the hard way!

I brought 2 Electric Scooters from Buy It Direct from their Amazon listings costing £185.05 each and both scooters ended up being faulty and both were returned for a full refund, but this company is now refusing to refund the full amount for them. Even though I paid £185.05 the company is only refunding £149.29 for one of them. I have clearly sent them a bank statement showing how much I paid for each Electric Scooter. This company clearly has very low ethics and scams customers out of money. I know Covid has had a massive impact on some companies but to rip customers off to make their money back is outrageous. This company has breached The Consumer Rights Act 2015 as the item was returned in 30 days and Buy It Direct has refused to refund the full amount of £185.05. I would Advise anyone thinking of buying from this company to think twice, the amount of stress they cause with their poor customer service team isnt worth it. I ended up calling By It Direct and spoke to Anne from there customer service team who offered a £50 good will gesture for all the inconvenience to then be told, Sorry No £50 good will gesture will be given, it seemed like Anne had No idea what she was doing and constantly putting me on hold whilst she was asking for advice on what too do, After telling me multiple things and then going against them, I asked to be put through to a manager, (Managers name Manny) who told me that Anne shouldn't of offered any good will gestures and said he would not honour this. He then was exstreamly rude to me and hung up on me. This just shows that this company has exstreamly poor ethics. I will Never buy anything from this company again and I advise anyone thinking of buying from this company to look elsewhere.

Truly terrible service, possibly the most incompetent and frustrating I have ever experienced! Firstly, they failed four times to collect my broken laptop because Buy It Direct kept sending the courier to the wrong house, despite me giving the correct details over a dozen times. Over 40 emails back and forth, never the same person replying, nobody seemed to know what was going on, and a total lack of clear answers. Then I received a phone charge of over £60 from being on the phone with them trying to sort it out, and they charge .14p a minute then keep you on hold for ages. Next, I was told somebody would get back to me within ten days to update me about my laptop repair. After three weeks I had received no news so I emailed them. First I was wrongly told that they had emailed me already. Then someone from the company rang to speak to me, called me the name of my colleague, and when I said they had the wrong name, they hung up straight away before I had a chance to explain. Now they have emailed saying someone will respond in three days to update me. Which means it will be over a month since I first contacted them about the repair, and they still haven't sorted it. I recommend don't by anything from Buy It Direct because if it goes wrong, you'll have nightmare experience!

I bought laptop from them.After 3 months laptop sound card started to crack ,tried to contact them,no answer.You need to pay extra moneys to speak with them on 0871 984 4416. I tried to call on East Midlands Store on 01773 814665 no anwer just voicemail. Their repair centre based in Poland and polish branch do nothing at all.It is not possible to registered my laptop on their system.Small claims court will be only option.Since you pay for your item ,they will not care.
