Warning to trade customers Warning: If you are trade customer or small business, avoid buying from Appliances Direct at all costs. I paid £400 for a hob which was seemingly damaged in transit when we opened it. We sent photos and a request to our "Account Manager" for a replacement who got one of his support staff to call us to say that they will not replace the hob due to the time that had passed. They offered us £70 in lieu of a replacement which is a joke. I now need to purchase another hob and to complete my customer's job. Their customer services is a disgrace so be fore warned.

Would not recommend this company or use them again. Shockingingly bad customer service. Was sent the wrong model of the item i ordered, charged correct price, company won't admit to any wrong doing on their part. I asked to be sent the correct model and they want me to pay the returns on the one i received!? I've been getting the run around for over a month now. Save yourself the aggro and buy elsewhere.

Buyitdirect will take your money, won't deliver your order, will keep giving you the run around for a while and then cut all contact. This is a scam so avoid at all costs.

Absolute 100% scam....ordered a wine cooler in June 2020....now its november 2020 and still haven't received my wine cooler...constantly.. getting the run around from the customer care team...never return phone calls or follow up...disaster......fraudulent company.

Buyitdirect is a scam, there are so many bad reviews about people not receiving their orders and being left out of pocket. My order never arrived and no refund and they dont respond to emails. It's been 4 weeks since i paid and nothing for it. Avoid buyitdirect like the plague. It's a lottery whether everything will work out and the odds aren't in the customer's favour. Go elsewhere, save your money and piece of mind

This buyitdirect website is a scam. Do not buy from them. I ordered an appliance 4 weeks ago and it never arrived. The company kept giving me the run around and keeping me on the long finger, now they just ignore my emails. Save yourself the hassle and stay well clear and save your money

Bought an item which turned out to be faulty. Still awaiting a refund or replacement. Very poor communication and operate as a cowboy outfit! Avoid buying from here at all costs!

I have write the review all ready ,but to be more focus on facts. The Buy it direct was selling the hob on their website with wrong picture to the wrong type number and details,I have bought the hob not knowing this fact,even in confirmation email I got the picture of the hob tough I was buying with the words '' this is what you purchased '' In the delivery came wrong type ,of course, It took me a couple days to get someone on the phone ,and it took me a few more calls ,till they comprehend ,and ADMITTED ,that the mistake is their fold and they will replace my hob. They said that the collection is ordered for exact day,we waited at home all day ,nothing had happened, we were waiting another two days ,before the collection had happen,and than we wait another 5 days to get delivery of replacement,guess what ? THE WRONG TYPE AGAIN ! so all over again , we contacted the customer service,we didn't want to wait another number of the days for SECOND collection so we offered to drop it on DPD 30km away from us,the customer service said to send new return label,we were waiting all day for the label,nothing had show up , so we had to call them again,in the next call with the same useless approach we were promised to get the label in then minutes,to be able to take parcel and drop it on dpd,the girl did swear she made the order for collection,and let us to go on dpd for NOTHING,because they didn't had any order for collection in system,we had to go with parcel back to home.The LABEL we finally got in last email,was exactly the same as the last one so I even doubt that the parcel would get to them and I strongly believe,that they would blame us of lose of the parcel ! Have anyone ever seen so much of stupidity and sauciness in one company ? I have big doubt that in the Buy it direct,is even one person with IQ high enough to finish this shocking sample of total inability to do online business,I really doubt I will ever get the right induction hob I have purchased. I think that the Buy it direct is doing all this focused bully to damage Ireland market and its customers I personally feel it as Discrimination and racist attack by British company towards Irish client.And there is no place on this planet to get justice and help! no one cares.

We purchased a bunk bed through this group’s company FURNITURE 123, it would appear that the bed was defective as the sides/corners of the bed were unduly sharp, particularly given that it was intended as a bed for children. None of the edges / 90 degree corners around the bed have been rounded/smoothened up and as a result this is hazardous for any type of furniture but even more so for a child’s product . One would be unable to run their finger across without a “cutting feeling” or rest to any part of the bed without feeling pain! This has resulted to my son’s injury and we needed to attend the A&E on the first night I’ve contacted the company‘a complaints department and was assigned a case manager but although I was promised on 3 occasions a call that has not happened! I was asked photos 3 times and still nothing !!! Reading the reviews later I came to the understanding , that the company has been made aware of this several times (I have some reviews to send you if you would like them) and at least one more customer’s child sustained the same injury. This could potentially be breach of contract and negligence on the grounds that the bed was not of satisfactory quality, nor was it fit for its purpose as a child’s bed as we suffered an injury on the first night of using it. Does someone need to go down the legal route to have a fair resolution or do you value your customers and more importantly their children ? Thanks in advance Roberto & Lucy

I have bad experience with them, i was waiting for my item very long time, on the end a got refund but not 100%. They didnt give me money back for delivery. Very bad customer service. They are Shams and thieves. Stay away from them.

First time using buy it direct. Ordered a phone over 2 MONTHS ago, paid €400 for it. Still haven't recieved the phone. They said there was a problem with the courier and there investigating it,that was 6 weeks ago. I asked for a refund, they wont give it. Now I have to go to solicitor and take it further. Long story short, I would not use this company to buy anything from. There nothing short of criminal. Regards Steve Co. Cork IRELAND

Customer "service" is a complete and utter joke. KEEP AWAY from these guys- They are all working from home now due to coronavirus? It appears like every other business out there now- their home phones and computers must use a "Slower Electric power source" ;(

Probably lost 500 euro with them. Sent back fridge and there is no answer when I will be refunded. Sending email almost every day - NO SINGLE answer. There is no chance to speak with customer service - nobody answer the phone, even if I call different time during a day (calling every day from 3 weeks). DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, YOU CAN LOST MONEY.

We purchased two TVs to be delivered to Ireland delivered on time I'm but to find the TVs are not working had to return took a long time to get any response second TV we was bought in November stopped working after 3 months and only now got a refund for the TV we but still no refund for us having to send it ourselves back to the UK customer service teams on the phone good service when you eventually get through very slow to respond to emails and great confusion on their side saying no emails were received for invoice of delivery back to the UK still waiting on a refund for us having to send the TV back our selves would not recommend this service to anybody

I would not recommend using Laptops Direct. I ordered a laptop from this company on 15 June last. It took them 3 days to inform me it was not available/in stock. As I needed a computer for work immediately, I cancelled the order and purchased one elsewhere. I am now waiting a month for a refund (they assured me on three separate occasions since 18 June that the transaction had been made) despite multiple phone calls and emails to various departments (account support, payments, customer service). I am not sure if it is merely incompetence on the part of this organisation or something more worrying, but I would be warn other consumers exercise caution when using this company. I am worried about ever getting my money back.

Waiting 10 days for a response on damaged coffee table, I understand that things are moving a bit slower but was advised maximum of 5 days. No response to emails sent and lines always busy.
