I would not recommend using Laptops Direct. I ordered a laptop from this company on 15 June last. It took them 3 days to inform me it was not available/in stock. As I needed a computer for work immediately, I cancelled the order and purchased one elsewhere. I am now waiting a month for a refund (they assured me on three separate occasions since 18 June that the transaction had been made) despite multiple phone calls and emails to various departments (account support, payments, customer service). I am not sure if it is merely incompetence on the part of this organisation or something more worrying, but I would be warn other consumers exercise caution when using this company. I am worried about ever getting my money back.

Waiting 10 days for a response on damaged coffee table, I understand that things are moving a bit slower but was advised maximum of 5 days. No response to emails sent and lines always busy.

I bought a cooker off this company in June for delivery on the 25th of June. It has not turned up and I have emailed them more times than I can count and no-one has answered the phone. I got an email back last week saying they were delighted that the problem is now solved!!!!!!!!!! I have no cooker and they have my money. THIS IS A JOKE OF A COMPANY.😡

Mistakenly ordered two extractor fans. Customer services were so helpful and told me just to refuse delivery of one extractor fan and it would be returned to them and refunded to me. I also received an email from them telling me to do this. Since I sent back the extractor fan I have heard nothing from buy it direct. I sent an emessage informing them I had returned the fan (as they asked me to do). I have since sent 4 more messages and tried phone and requesting a call back. No reply to any of my messages. Previously when contacting them they would reply straight away. I have received no refund now and that was 27th of May. I am so disappointed by the service. Unfortunately I had another larger order to place but do not feel confident to place now until I have a reply from them!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY Worst company ever bought a microwave. paid 15.99 for 5 day delivery 14days later and still no delivery after numerous emails and phone calls they are telling me my microwave has been delivered NO MICROWAVE DELIVERED MORE LIES If anyone from buy it direct is reading this can you please have some decency and refund my money or call me Richard

Ordered a phone and after hearing nothing for 2 weeks I emailed them about the delay. They reordered the phone to sort the problem and again nothing came in the post so after a total of 7 weeks since I bought it and numerous emails back and forth (takes roughly a week for a completely different person to respond to my emails) I'm still waiting on the refund that I asked for. I really regret buying from this company.

Ordered a BBQ and it arrived damaged. Took 7 phone calls and countless emails to get them to collect it. Replacement was also damaged and was promised collection today. Guess what, no collection as expected. Called their 7 days a week helpline at 2pm and it was closed!! It's a Monday and they close lines at 2pm? Nobody seems to know what's actually going on any time you call and they fill you full of lies. Not to be trusted, won't be a returning customer.

Sold me an item for e1200 and delivered...refused to take old item away as per their t&CD because of COVID.... DONT SELL TO PuBLIC AND RENEGE oN RECYCLING RESPONSIBILITIES .. PLEASE!!

Do not buy from here , I bought a phone that was broken , I sent it back and I took me 2 months to get a refund , and they didn't even refund the full amount , customer service doesn't exist after one reply either ..STAY WELL AWAY

Purchased a sideboard from Furniture123/ Buy it Direct - big mistake!!! 1 star given is for the quality of the goods supplied. Unfortunately on arrival parts were missing / damaged and that is where the problems started. Replacement parts were issued however excess large parts were also issued. In addition and on 4 separate occasions I received duplicate parts instead of missing parts. Eventually I gave up and requested a refund. More than 2mths on I am still out of pocket by £50. 2+ months of emails which are frustrating as each incoming message is inconsistent with the previous. Argggg!!!!

Spent extra money buying a good quality microwave, bought one to match my kitchen appliances but wrong colour arrived. Tried to contact buyitdirect to get my correct micriwave but have had no contact from them. Very very disappointed with the customer service and total lack of contact from the company. If you're lucky to get what you want you're fine but if theres a mistake or damage, good luck getting any response 😣

Delivery took 3 weeks. However when we took the oven out of the packaging (which was undamaged) and the oven was bent from being dropped from a height, we immediately sent them multiple photos and it took them a full week to agree to replace it and collect the damaged oven. 3 weeks later (7 weeks from order) after they didn't arrive when they said they would, an oven arrived and their courier refused to take the damaged one. Then the next 2 scheduled collections they didn't turn up. Now 9 weeks after order Buyitdirect are completely unhelpful telling us it is our responsibility and they are going to charge us for the second oven (Tendai told me this). They also refuse to collect our old old oven as WEE. You may be lucky but if anything goes wrong they are unhelpful, obstructive and couldn't care less.

PURE CLICK BAIT MERCHANTS Haven’t bought anything and never will. I looked at a four burner barbecue which was €350, when I went back to buy it it was 370, then it increased daily and is now 450, yet a six burner similar is cheaper at 430. It is obvious that an algorithm is pushing the price up every time you look at it or something very odd is going on with a product that increases €100 in the space of a week. I did engage with the company’s live chat feature, there response was “yes the prices change daily

I bought an indesit slimline dishwasher, now installed 2wks it worked fine for 8 washes and now just keeps running and letting in water. I registered the guarantee on the day it arrived, but can get no person to contact me about sorting this problem. I bought it from, Buy it direct Ireland.

I'd avoid purchasing electronics from this site if you're in Ireland. The returns procedure is a complete nightmare. The Customers Service team are nice, but they only respond once every 48 hours, so arranging a return can be easily dragged over weeks & potentially months. I had purchased a Macbook Pro 16" for €2,550 - the €150 saving compared to buying it directly from Apple website certainly wasn't worth it. Avoid. If you do decide to risk it, don't bother paying extra for the express delivery - it arrived two days after it was due, which is the same as standard post.

Placed order confirmed delivery date. Nothing despatched. Spent best part of a day trying to speak to someone with a brain. Failed. Eventually spoke and date rearranged. No delivery. Spent another day trying to get my money back. Still trying. AVOID. AVOID. CON ARTISTS

Don't waste time paying for their "5-=point monitor check" - they still sent me a monitor with a dead pixel and 10 days laters they are trying to fob off with £30 partial discount on a £650 monitor. The law is unambiguous, I am entitled to a full refund but they are clearly trying to dodge that.
