Hidden extra charges. Customer support non existent. A generic email cover all reply to a specific and detailed query on an overcharge. Goods out of stock on my first delivery from Lidl, I spoke to the shopper and she asked me would she substitute. I said no. So she did not. I still got charged for these items. Trying to get answers from customer support is impossible. Like I mentioned earlier a cover all reply email to my query, twice!. Some would say they use “sharp practice”. If you have been using them and have had no problems, just wait a while, or check your initial card payment and compare with the till receipt. ( you have to ask the driver for this). In my case it was 20% more expensive. No more buy me. !! Update, I just got charged another €1 from buy me for absolutely no reason.
