“This is one of the worst managed ridiculously bad service if you use it you deserve to lose money, they don't give a s*** they will steal your money using it is on you you!! You deserve to lose. Philip Marley”
“Please keep away from this company. I have been let down so many times but there was no alternative as I am not mobile presently. Orders received with half the items missing, items I did not order in the delivery, wrong items and wrong sizes always. The last straw was today, I made an order in the morning for between 4 and 5 pm. Two hours later I was told the delivery would be two hours late. Less than an hour ago whilst I was waiting for the items I received a text which said the delivery would be tomorrow. It is not good enough for people like me who depend on this service. Will not use them again and recommend no one else does either.
Ps their drivers are excellent , friendly and obliging.
Date of experience: August 19, 2024”
“Using the service is a nightmare. With my particular bank they put a deposit hold on my shopping. When the shopping was done and the money was taken the hold was still on my account.
I had no money from Friday to Friday and I have 2 kids. I would never use this app again and I would advise others to seek other options it's not worth the hassle.”
“Useful in a pinch if you have small children at home but the service is appaling by no fault of the lovely shoppers. With every order (premium or not) you receive a message from “Richard” informing you that your delivery has been rescheduled. Customer service is largely copy and paste so you'll receive the same response each time if you do choose to complain. I always make attempts to tip the shoppers as I don't believe that they are treated well by upper management, although they won't say it themselves directly... I was one of the first users of this app and I'm sad to say that I would no longer recommend it unless needs must”
“I worked with buymie for 2 years 5 months. They reduced wages by 30% , they never meet you. Support is in armenia. Now that they have been taken over by dunnes and dunnes is the only shop available I left because I could see how bad it was becoming. Stay away from company”
“Not even deserving of the star to be honest. Cancelled orders or should I say “rescheduled” to an entirety different day when you won’t be home and you have already paid a premium for groceries to be delivered that day, and really poor attitude and communication from Richard their “Head of Customer Relations”. Items have been missing, or smaller variants delivered whilst charging for their larger counterpart.”
“One star is too much. I have been overcharged on 6 Occasions for items that I did not receive or order. I insisted on a copy of original receipt and this is how I found out. There shopper was putting items in basket charging the customer and keeping items. This has happened me again in the past couple of weeks. I cannot read photo of receipt so I can’t check so again they get away with taking peoples hard earned money.
I will be reporting this company to the relevant authorities.”
“I have been using buyme for last 12 months and i cant fault them at all.. my delivery times are spot on and the customer service is excellent... and of course additional fees/charges are applied... this great service needs to be paid for and their emoloyees also need to be paid. Im very happy with buyme...has taken the stress from weekly shopping away from me! Im living in ireland (Limerick) 👍”
“Absolutely useless and poor service.
We placed an order above £50. The shopper called us on the date of delivery and told that more than 50% of the items are unavailable. I told him not to bring the items until everything is available so that I can avail the £20 discount. The delivery was rescheduled to next day. On the next day, the rider called to substitute a few items but didn’t mention that some items were still unavailable. As a result, our order fell just below £50. The rider didn’t give a receipt nor the order was updated in the app. I figured that out myself after the items were received.
I chatted with customer service, but they said I cannot get the £20 discount and that it is nobody’s fault. In summary:
1. They will manipulate your first order in every way possible to bring it below £50.
2. The prices are already above store value.
3. The delivery is not free. I think its £4-5.
4. There is no option to return.
5. Customer service is rude and poor.
Really disappointed that Asda has engaged such a poor vendor for online deliveries. Stay away!”
“Terrible service. Double charged my account leaving a hole in my current account meaning some house hold bills can't be payed before the issue is resolved. Buymie customer support continuously blamed my bank after appologings for inconvenience,, apparently its happening to many customers. A free delivery is no kind of compensation or use to me if I have no electricity for my fridge!! They sujested I don't use my bank card to pay,, which is a ridiculous sujection, how else am I expected to pay,, by getting new bank?? Extremely disappointed that this
happened and with their attitude of shifting blame... Free tip for Buymie: Don't appologies with a but and then place the blame elsewhere. Bye Buymie 👋👋”
“Disgraceful service joke of a company stole money from my account still not put it back no phonelines to talk to staff text only 30 mins wait time for each reply personal shopper made numerous mistakes and staff don't care charge extortionate fees also beware don't use this rip off company”
“Appalling. Really appalling. The shopper was fine, it's the company itself that are shady. I've just had a back and forth with a (nice and polite - it's not her fault) customer service agent where I repeatedly clarified that my problem was not that product costs can vary once the shopper is in store, but that the fees were not transparent and were not included in the original total estimate. Repeatedly, the response gave the "products can vary in price" line when that was not what I complaining about. They also said that all fees etc are included in the original total estimate, which they are not, so that is an outright lie. Avoid this company at all costs.”
“31 items ordered, 10 substituted without my consent. Bags despite the fact that there is an instruction on my account not to. Credits only offered for "wrong" items that I provided photographs of (despite the fact that they were all listed on the receipt). 9 emails in a thread (So far) dealing with this one delivery. Been this way for MONTHS now. Oh, and as of last Sun in April, Tesco no longer partnering with them for deliveries.”
“Never again. Used the service once and am quite appalled at the total lack of transparency with all the hidden costs that are not itemised on the invoice. Very deceitful. I cannot see Buymie lasting too long in business. Avoid at all costs.”
