I spoke to an agent about cancelling my policy and they said I had to put it in writing so I sent an email with all my details and the date I wished to cancel my policy. However I have just been told that I need to follow the cancellation procedure. They are now wanting me to pay beyond my cancellation date, as my policy is not cancelled! They are being very patronising and unhelpful. I have tried to call the complaints number and it’s just ringing, I’ve been holding on for 15 minutes. If you are looking for a Car Insurance company, don’t choose By Miles.
