Just travelled from Newcastle to Liverpool on a 5 days trip including trip to Chester and Beatles tour with Mersey Ferry trip included. We stayed at Adelphi Hotel which was very poor and disappointing. Very shabby and shocked no housekeeping throughout week would have been nice to have bins emptied and fresh towels at the very least. Food was mediocre however breakfast was good but there was no ambience at all throughout. Caledonian inclusive trips were very good however there was daily confusion on trip times and our journey home time was changed 3 times leaving us a little worried and spoiled final morning as hanging around longer than necessary due to doubtful leaving times. I would have been anxious if had been travelling alone due to times changing throughout the 5 days. I have another trip booked with Caledonian so hope this was just a blip.
