Purchased a new Nikon D7100 from Calumet (Birmingham). All appeared to be okay until I had to shoot some low light shots of a band on stage. At least half of the shots were out of focus. I requested a replacement camera and I was asked to return the camera to the store to be checked. I also took the disk containing the photographs and the sales person used the Nikon software to check the images to find out where the focus points were. Most of them he couldn't explain. He said that it was just "the way the camera works". I have been a photographer for over 45 years and I know that there was something wrong. He refused to replace the camera so I requested a refund. That was refused. I had to threaten to stay in the store to try to get some response. I was told that I would be "physically removed" if I did not leave. After several phone calls he offered a replacement. By this time I had already had enough and nothing short of a refund would do. I was then told that they did not have enough cash in the store to give a refund, (pull the other one). In the end I had to accept a bank transfer the following day. I think that the whole affair could have been handled much better. I purchased a new camera from another "High Street retailer" and the camera works just fine..!
