Having recently bought a Nikon body in-store at Drummond Street and been, as ever, very happy with the staff there, I now have the opposite experience with an online purchase, made last week (Profoto B2 kit plus boxes). Not only was the kit tagged as available but I was told it would be at Drummond Street within 3 days. Before going over to pick up the kit I called a few minutes ago and a helpful, pleasant guy on the phone explained it was not and inference being that just because the website guarantees availability, reality means something quite different. As a private customer I pay a premium to shop with Calumet (I also buy through a corporate account and have done for many years). Can say as a private customer, unimpressed with Calumet online.
