I like Calumet a lot and their range, prices and customer service is excellent. I would have given a 5 star rating were it not for the rather antiquated ordering system. I have shopped in store, phone order and on-line, sometimes popping into Milton Keynes to pick up orders. However, the "system" has created numerous accounts and the staff at MK have found it the devils own job to find my order despite my having the order copy printed off by me in my hand! This has now happened on a couple of occasions and is a little exasperating to have to add on 5-10mins each visit for what should be a simple process. I appreciate this may be a one-off issue, but a new(er) system would be able to locate the customer quicker surely? Recently I was picking up two orders one on-line and one by phone. The on-line was not coming up but the phone order was! Ironically I only did the phone order as the on-line system wasn't applying an on-line discount. The staff were great both on the phone and in MK and in MK they promised to get the 'IT Elves' to make sure that in future the accounts should be pointing in the right direction. That's really good as when mistakes happen it is how it get's sorted out that counts. However, some review on the IT systems would be good to sort out some of these issues.
