I bought a 5D Mark III (paying upfront) from The Photography Show at the NEC where I was told that there were none available to take home, but they would place one on order and it would be delivered next day. I anticipated a couple of days waiting time but after a week and no correspondence, I rang customer services to chase only to be told that it could be another 10 to 14 days - disappointment! Granted it arrived today, only two weeks after the show, but I had no communication of when it would be delivered so it was only down to luck that I was in to take delivery. It seems to me that Calumet could improve its customer service by using better communication methods such as text and email, used as standard by other companies, to keep its customers better informed.
