I just bought a Surly 8 Pack rack 2.0 for my fat bike. It installed easily, and has a Wald 139 basket on it.
Campfire Cycling had a good price and fast shipping. Maybe someone could pass this along to Surly.
I did not have the propper braze-ons at the top of the fork. Surly should include a bracket that mounts to the hole at the top of the fork. I made mine out of stainless steel sheet metal, I have access to a shear and metal folding brake. It was very easy for me because I have the equipment. I bought a rack for my other bike from Tumbleweed and their rack attaches the same way at the top. The Tumbleweed rack came with that bracket. I knew this about the Surly rack when I bought it. They should include a similar bracket with their rack. The 8 Pack Rack does not even fit all the Surly forks. Surly should get a clue, they are being outsmarted by Tumblewed. It's a nice rack and they could sell more of them if people only needed mid fork mounts. Jeff
