The pine pollen arrived promptly and tasted very good in my morning milk tea. The tea was first heated to my liking and then the pollen sprinkled on to ensure the nutrients will not be affected by the hotness. The flavor of the pine pollen reminds me of the pine nuts I used to eat in China and why not, they come from the same family tree that promotes good health. Pine nuts mixed with dates is a popular sweet treat in Shanghai. Birthday greetings in China always compare eternal youth and extreme longevity to the Pine trees which live for hundreds of thousands of years.
