Ok, we all get things wrong, it’s how you deal with mistakes that show quality.
I ordered a head unit and fitting kit for my vehicle. Price was good, and it arrived quickly.
However, when I looked at what I’d received, it was wrong. I’d been sent the wrong adaptor for my head unit (bought in the same purchase and arrived in the same box). Also, no free gift (not so bothered about that, but don’t offer if you’re not going to supply).
I double checked what I’d ordered, double checked the advice I’d been given, and sure enough, it was the wrong adaptor put in the package.
I contacted customer services Friday morning, chased half way through the day to confirm I’d got the wrong adaptor, no reply till Monday. The advice was to contact a store to confirm it was the wrong part, which I did and the store confirmed it after phone call, email and another phone call.
To deal with it quickly, I had to buy another fitting kit (another £80), and return the wrong one for a refund. They couldn’t send out the wrong part on its own, and didn’t want to do an exchange without receiving the wrong part first.
I bought another kit, again it arrived quickly (again no free gift). However, fitting it today and this time the aerial adaptor is wrong. I’ve checked again, and sure enough I’ve selected the right van, correct original head unit etc. should be a double Fakra, I have been sent a single.
I’ve ordered one from another store as I can’t be bothered with the run around, sorry.
