First this item works fine on my Mazda 3 BP delivered en august 2023 and I am very pleased of it. Actually, it is enough to check that your car system is able to read .wav files from an usb plug. The device acts as a so called audio ripper for audio CDs using standard CD drives. So that result is really excellent, the same as that with a CD ripped with an efficient audio grabber such as EAC. One can point out that the .wav files can also be saved on a computer, without of course any tags however. Thanks to this item, we are not any more linked to the "clouds" or "smartphones" as manufactures seem having expected !
