Carfax saved me! I was going to see a car in Long Beach California with my 18-year-old son for him to purchase and though we did not end up getting the car we looked at, we drove another car, a 1996 Mazda Miata. The Miata drove very smoothly and it obviously had some very good engine work done as well as new tires; however, what the Carfax revealed was that the odometer have been rolled back by over 100,000 miles! Carfax saved us from purchasing a vehicle that was overvalued.
