Carfax makes it extremely difficult to remove an error in a report. Further they do not appear to investigate entries by mechanics or dealers.
My vehicle had an engine replaced per manufacturer warranty issue. No accident or frame issue yet the mechanic reported body damage maybe? What the hell is that.
Carfax is taken as gospel and it shouldn’t be. It had many many flaws that effect the future of a vehicle.
