My CARFAX story is not exciting. I didn't discover an undisclosed issue or anything that saved me from disaster. What I did do was, for about $50, get third party verification of the story the seller was telling me. Armed with the CARFAX report I was confident enough to travel from Wilson,NC to Savannah, GA and spend $17,250 with a total stranger. We could not be happier with our purchases -the car and the CARFAX report.
