Carfax report was purchased to assist in selling my cad. It didn't help, it made it harder to sell because the report contained 2 errors. First, the report questioned the mileage because someone had reported the mileage incorrectly during the life of the car. Secondly, the report indicated that the car was owned by 2 people. This is also incorrect. I relocated to a new state, and when I transferred the registration to the new state, car fax erroneously reported a new owner.
Hence, I will never trust a car fax report in the future.
