looking for a first car for my daughter CARFAX was awesome. not only did it stop me from buying a car with a clean title that was in not one but two crashes. CARFAX also shows the service records on cars with phone numbers. the vehicle i ended up purchasing showed the water pump was replaced. with the dealer and phone #. so it was simple to give them a call with vin # and they looked up the car. it showed the vehicle was in for regular oil change and they spotted a leek and changed the water pump. it put my mined at ease to know the car was not overheated.CARFAX ROCKS. i would not buy a used car without it...
