I planned to visit a used car dealership to buy a pickup. I decided to check the carfax prior to traveling to a neighboring state to buy. Wow, am I glad I checked. Turns out the vehicle had been involved in an accident and declared a total loss, had a salvage title. I steered clear and later found the vehicle I was looking for with a clean carfax report.
