I would not purchase a used vehicle without first reviewing the carfax. I am 45 years old and have purchased a few cars in my life and every time I purchase a used car I first ask for the VIN so I can review the CARFAX. There are too many situations that could happen that you might end up with a bad investment. With mother nature flooding areas you don't want to purchase a flooded vehicle. Just too many risks to figure in and Carfax takes the risk out. Plus when I go to sell a car, I offer the carfax, people will take a closer look if you offer the carfax up front. It shows you don't have anything to hide and are a serious seller. Highly recommend.
