Was considering buying a car that looked ok on the surface. Seller did not mention any major problems with the car that 'he knew about' and was reluctant to give the license plate or VIN. When saw the car I noticed the lic plate and decided to check the carfax. The report showed me that it was flood damaged. Saved me a lot of time and effort.
