I had been shopping for a 2004 Corvette Z06 for several months. I had specific criteria for the car I wanted and as a result the candidates were spread across the country. If it had not been for a comprehensive (and clean) CARFAX that contained the vehicles entire history since new I would not have considered jumping on a plane for Seattle to buy the car.
