Carfax saved me $500 - $1,000. Found what looked like a clean, low mileage, low priced Hybrid Honda Civic. The seller played dumb saying he wasn't aware of any problems. Then I ran a Carfax on the spot using my mobile phone. Glad I did. It hadn't passed a recent emissions test.
