y ears ago I bought a low mileage pickup truck from the dealer and I still have it to this day but what I didn't know was that at 22,000 miles that truck had the transmission already replaced if I would have got the carfax then I would have known that. I've since replaced that transmission and have had no problems since. I decided that if I would have got a CARFAX report I would have known that. now I've just bought a 2008 Volkswagen and the first thing that I did was get a CARFAX report. I was amazed to find that CarMax didn't provide one. I purchased the bundle of 5 because I was shopping for cars and wanted to have it available for me I'm glad that I got the CARFAX report it showed a good history and it helped with my purchase. I shared the history with the car max salesperson because they didn't know what the carfax showed
