I looked for a car for a couple of months before realizing that most people looking to sell their cars are not being honest about their cars. At this point I bought the 5 carfax package and resumed my search. Found two "clean, no accident" cars, checked the carfax to see accidents. Found another "one owner" car that turned out to have 5 previous owners. On the fourth carfax, I finally found the one. Clean, one owner with maintenance records. Buying the carfax was the best 50 bucks I ever spent!
