I checked the CARFAX on a few cars that I was interested in. The reports were very helpful in showing me if there were any accidents on the vehicles I chose to look at. Once I was satisfied on a particular vehicle, we went and test drove it from an individual and bought it. Without the CARFAX reports, we may have purchased a damaged vehicle
