Looking to purchase an older Chevy Tahoe. Found one with low mileage for its age (~130k miles) and was about to purchase from a used car dealer who didn’t provide the CARFAX. Decided to run it myself and lo and behold it actually had closer to 230k miles as there was a mileage inconsistency that the dealer neglected to tell me about! I walked away immediately as they were selling it as a 130k mile car based on the price. CARFAX saved me a big headache! Ended up finding another one a couple weeks later that was a one owner 85k vehicle!
