Carfax report on my own car was riddled with errors - 8 in total - including things that simple data controls would flag up like a report of the car being service before it was made.
This reduced the trade-in value from $34,000 to nothing, and I missed the deal I was shopping for.
It took me hours and hours to collect all the documentation that was supposed to be in the carfax.
