I always saw the ads for "CarFax" and figured they were a reputable business. Recently my eye caught a particular 4-WD vehicle in a neighbors drive-way, with the usual placard attesting to the "Yr., Mileage., and in general, "Hype-to-set-the-hook". I wrote down the Vin# and said "Time to utilize CAR-FAX!" Lo' and behold...the information supplied by CAR-FAX not only confirmed the "B.S." being presented by this seller, but it also showed that the seller was trying to pass off a 1989 model, as a 1997!!!!! Imagine that! So, Thanks Car-fax my paltry investment with you saved me Beaucoup $ and time not wasted." Mark D. Schevling
