I looked long and hard for a used pickup truck but was frustrated by the reluctance of car dealerships to give me a total picture of my potential purchase. Having and using the Carfax website gave me the total picture of my potential buy as well as giving me the negotiating information I needed to be sure I was not being taken advantage of.
