CarFax saved us from buying a car that came with a so-called "clean" title. The seller told us that the car's airbags had never deployed and it had not been "totaled" in an accident. He gave us another company's car history report that was incomplete ( he referred to it as a CarFox!) At the last minute we decided to do a CarFax and so glad we did! The car had been in a bad accident, head -on into a utility pole, airbags deployed and it was totaled and sold for salvage/junk. It was then transferred to two other states and somehow came out with a "clean" title. Thanks CarFax!
