I purchased a car for my teenager after much research. Had it checked out by an auto mechanic and was satisfied that the car was fine. After purchasing the car I proceeded to the local MVD to get it registered only to find out that the title should have been Salvage! Yikes! Back to the seller I go who tells me they did not know there was a 'problem' with the title and that they no longer have the money to cancel the sale. "Go ahead and sue me" they say - lovely. A CarFax would have stopped this at the beginning without all the stress.
