CarFax helped me make a well informed car purchase. I found a 2010 Mercedes ML550 and a 2011 ML550. While the 2011 had more miles I was able to read the CarFax maintenance entries for it. The previous owner performed all scheduled maintenance at their local Mercedes dealership. The entries listed services done including tires, new rotors, etc. With this information it was easy to determine the 2011 with higher miles was the better deal.
