I was looking to buy a Honda Odyssey, and my brother suggested me to check them out in CARFAX, we saw 2 or 3 from private seller, and the "one" we were going to buy, with cash in hand, had the mileage altered. Thanks to CARFAX I didn't bought that broken car, it has more than 100,000 miles erased.
