I had been searching for an Infiniti G35, and after going to a couple dealers and hearing the phrase "clean car", I became skeptical. I found out that 2 of the 3 I looked at were in accidents and the 3rd someone had skipped the regular oil changes, and never took it in for a recall that was out for the car. Suffice to say they tried to sell me some beat up cars for top dollar. Eventually I found a local owner, and when I pulled the carfax, I saw he had it serviced at the same dealer the entire life of the car, and all recalls had been taken care of, as well as no accidents. I can't recommend carfax enough, the reports really bring light to a shady market.
