I was looking to purchase a newer car off Kijiji and found 2 that i was very interested in. The price on both was about 2000.00 less than what dealers wanted for the same vehicle on the lots so i figured just to be safe i would run a carfax on both. One turned up as a total write off rebuild but was not listed as such and i contacted Kijiji and they had the add pulled and the seller relisted it as a write off rebuild when he relisted it so i saved someone else from getting a dud. The second one came up A-ok and i purchased it and have put 60,000 kms on it with only doing minor maintenance. Good thing i used carfax and I have advised every one that asked me about purchasing a used vehicle to do the same and have had many thank you's because of that advice.
