Carfax is really the only source for complete information about your potential used car purchase. I've been using it lately and it has turned up some surprising information (good AND bad) about cars I was looking at. For around $20 a pop it's REALLY cheap insurance against getting taken by unscrupulous sellers. Recommend 100%.
