I applied for the 3 months of car fax, and maybe I did not read the fine print, but when you pay almost $60.00 for three months, you would expect that you would be able to look up more than 5 vin numbers - WHY? Because cars on lots, ((Many) lots do not have a license plate, soooooooooooo the only way you can really know the history is to get it from the vin number. Hey Car Fax, are you really that hard up for money? When a person is looking to not get ripped off, don't help the crook by limiting the car fax. Buyer beware, right? But even in the case of purchasing the car fax vin ability. Is it that costly for you to have more than five numbers looked up in three months??????? Really. Was I satisfied? NO! It kind of gets my goat when I have to take the word of a car dealer that the info which I just received is right- somehow I just do not have that much confidence in car salesmen - but limiting 5 vins, seems to place you on the side of the salesmen. Good thing I am old enough that I should not have to look for another car- if I did, I do not know to whom I would go? Car Fax?????????
