Kenneth Andrew
We drove a 2003 Mazda which had Florida plates on it. The private seller told me that it was a "Florida" car bought from a doctor. Living in the Northeast, Florida cars are considered salt corrosion free and thus more valuable. He also told me the car was never in an accident. After the test drive, I was sold. As a very routine check I pullled out my Ipad and asked for the VIN. I used one of 5 Car Faxes that I purchased to check prospective cars' histories. To my amazement the car was from Michigan, spent 2 months in Florida, was totalled several years earlier, and my new found "buddy" bought it at a used car lot. PASS! Moral of the story......never go looking to buy a used car without a few Car Faxes hanging out of your back pocket!
