I would like to say thank you to carfax for saving me from making an expensive mistake. I found a really nice truck from out of state that I was interested in. After running a carfax I saw that the really nice truck was totalled at one time and had a salvage title. To make matters worse the title was washed and was being passed off as a clean title . The truck was being sold by private owner and I would have purchased it in cash on the spot being stuck with a truck that couldn't be titled in the state of N.J. After looking at numerous trucks and running car faxes on all of them I was surprised at how valuable this service really is. I am now the proud owner of a vehicle that I know the history about.
