Through carfax I found out that a car I was looking at had 4 other owners, which I thought it had less and that was great info to know! Also showed all the owners and locations it was and recorded mileage. It showed that it had a clean title and no major accidents were recorded, I bought the car essentially based on a carfax and a visual inspection, had the car for 6 months now and it's still running great and I love it, will probably use carfax on my next purchase, it's not super expensive and might give you peace of mind
